Privacy Policy

Last updated: October 2026

Future Factory London ("we", "us", "our") respects your privacy and is committed to protecting your personal data. This policy explains what we collect, why, how we use it, and the rights you have under the UK General Data Protection Regulation (UK GDPR) and the Data Protection Act 2018.

Who we are

Future Factory London is a strategy and execution consultancy based in London, UK. We are the data controller for the personal information described in this policy. You can contact us about anything in it at info@ffldn.com.

Information we collect

Information you give us. When you use the contact form, email us, call us, or connect with us on LinkedIn, we collect the details you choose to share: typically your name, job title, organisation, email address, telephone number and the content of your message.

Information from working together. If you become a client, speaking host, or Innovation Breakfast Club member, we hold the business contact details and correspondence needed to deliver that work, invoice for it, and keep proper records.

Technical information. Our website does not use analytics or tracking cookies. Our hosting provider keeps standard server logs, including IP addresses, for security and to keep the site running. See our Cookie Policy for more.

How we use it and why

We use personal information to respond to enquiries, to discuss and deliver consultancy, speaking and event work, to manage invitations to the Innovation Breakfast Club, to send invoices and keep accounting records, and to keep the website secure.

Our lawful bases under UK GDPR are: performance of a contract, or taking steps at your request before entering one; our legitimate interests in running and promoting our business and responding to people who contact us, balanced against your rights; and compliance with legal obligations such as tax and accounting rules. Where we rely on consent, for example for marketing emails, you can withdraw it at any time.

Marketing

We do not send unsolicited marketing emails. If you have expressed interest in our events or work, we may occasionally contact you about relevant sessions or updates. Every such message will include a simple way to opt out.

Who we share it with

We do not sell personal data. We share it only with service providers who help us run the business and who are bound by contract to protect it: our website host, our email provider, [FORM PROVIDER] which processes contact form submissions, and our accountant for invoicing records. We may also disclose information where the law requires it.

Some of these providers may process data outside the UK. Where they do, we rely on the UK's adequacy regulations or the International Data Transfer Agreement and standard contractual clauses to make sure your data is protected.

How long we keep it

Enquiries that do not lead to work are deleted within 12 months. Client and supplier records are kept for six years after the end of the relationship, in line with HMRC requirements. Breakfast Club membership details are kept while you remain a member and for 12 months afterwards.

How we protect it

We use reputable providers with appropriate security controls, keep access to personal data limited to those who need it, and use encrypted connections for the website and email. No system is completely secure, but we take reasonable steps to prevent loss, misuse or unauthorised access.

Your rights

You have the right to ask for a copy of the personal data we hold about you, to have inaccurate data corrected, to have your data erased where there is no good reason for us to keep it, to object to or restrict our processing, to receive your data in a portable format, and to withdraw consent where that is the basis we rely on.

To exercise any of these rights, email info@ffldn.com. We will respond within one month. There is normally no charge.

If you are unhappy with how we have handled your data, you can complain to the Information Commissioner's Office at ico.org.uk or on 0303 123 1113. We would appreciate the chance to resolve any concern first.

Changes to this policy

We review this policy periodically and will publish any changes here. The date at the top shows when it was last updated.
